2026 Big Bend Camping Trip

Every year, our trip into the rugged beauty of Big Bend is more than just a getaway—it is a intentional opportunity to stoke the flame. Out in the quiet wonder of God’s creation, we gather around the fire for rich fellowship, stepping away from the noise of daily life so He can clear our minds of past ash and distraction. As we share this time together, God refuels our souls with fresh strength and restores our spirit, leaving us inspired, unified, and ready with renewed vision for the trail ahead in the new year.

Thank you for signing up for our Big Bend 2026 Family camping trip on December 3-6, at the Rio Grande Village Group Campsite!

Check-in is Thursday at 1 p.m., Check-out on Sunday at 12pm.

The cost is $60 per person which includes a campsite, all meals, and a t-shirt.

We have reserved group campsite “C” and can accommodate 40 campers. The campsites are primitive, which means you need to bring a tent, there is no water or electricity hookup at the site however nearby are restrooms, showers, and washeteria. Please bring rolls of quarters for showers and washeteria.

We will have several group itineraries available to choose from depending on your hiking skills.

Sleeping bag

Toiletries (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, etc..)

Comfortable shoes for hiking

Towel

Chair

Backpack (will need for Saturday’s hike to carry snacks and lunch)

Headlamp/flashlight

Refillable Water bottle or hydration reservoir

Layers of clothing for temperature swings

Sunblock
